The Troitsa East showing is located approximately 25 kilometres east of Kemano and 105 kilometres southeast of Kitimat.

The showing is underlain by the Late Cretaceous Bulkley Plutonic Suite quartz-dioritic intrusives.

Mineralization occurs as galena, malachite, chalcopyrite and pyrite within quartz veins in granite and granodiorite.

In 2010, Callinan Mines Ltd. optioned the Troitsa property and completed a program of prospecting, soil and rock sampling and structural mapping. Highlights of this program include rock sample 42179, which assayed 7.535 per cent copper, 152 grams per tonne silver and 0.409 gram per tonne gold, and sample 42191, which assayed 5.24 per cent copper, 67.8 grams per tonne silver and 0.424 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 32205).
